    Hi. Just got Addy's abacus off ebay. My daughter and I aren't sure how to use an abacus. It has 5 rows of 10 beads. Is there any method to it? Megan and Caitlin

    Try typing in "Abacus method" in your search bar (google, etc.) and see what comes up. I know many elementary and jr/high school math textbooks give some background/history information and/or directions also. Hope this helps.
